Data Science Intern

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Science Intern to join our analytics team. This internship provides hands-on experience working with real-world data, building predictive models, and generating insights that drive business decisions. You will collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to support ongoing projects and develop innovative data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Assist in building, training, and validating machine learning models.
• Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights clearly.
• Support the development and deployment of data pipelines and analytical tools.
• Work closely with mentors to document findings and present results to the team.

Required Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Python or R for data analysis.
• Familiarity with data manipulation libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy) and visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau, Power BI).
• Understanding of statistical methods, hypothesis testing, and regression analysis.
• Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch).
• Proficient with SQL and working with databases.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Knowledge of big data tools (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
